Yerington entered their tilt with Sierra Lutheran on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 11. They beat the Falcons by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 17 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Toby Juarez spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up six Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Valor Angle, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Brent Brinkley, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs and one RBI.

Yerington pushed their record up to 23-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Sierra Lutheran, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-18-1.

Yerington will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
