Meanwhile, El Monte's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Gabrielino, falling 73-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat El Monte has suffered since December 27, 2023.
Rosemead has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for El Monte, their loss dropped their record down to 2-23.
