The Boise Brave will be playing in front of their home fans against the Timberline Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boise is coming into the game hot, having won their last 15 games.
Last Friday, Boise faced Owyhee in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Boise enjoyed a cozy 64-50 victory over Owyhee.
It was another big night for Avery Howell, who shot 5-for-9 from deep and dropped a double-double on 37 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Boise's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Patricco, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Timberline suffered their biggest loss since November 14, 2023 on Monday. They suffered a tough 66-40 loss at the hands of Owyhee. Timberline has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Boise pushed their record up to 18-1 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.33 points. As for Timberline, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.
Everything came up roses for Boise against Timberline in their previous matchup back in November of 2023 as the squad secured a 58-29 victory. With Boise ahead 29-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
