The Liberty Lions and the Pinnacle Pioneers combined for 21 shots on goal on Thursday, which explains the impressive seven total goals scored. Liberty suffered a tough 6-1 defeat at the hands of Pinnacle. Liberty has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Liberty dropped their record down to 8-7-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Pinnacle, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5-2 record this season.
Liberty will head out on the road to face off against Mountain Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pinnacle does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
