Basketball Recap: Trinity Williams' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Athens Christian Preparatory Academy over Trinity Christian Academy

On Tuesday, the Athens Christian Preparatory Academy Storm might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Trinity Christian Academy Warriors an easy 50-28 victory. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Athens Christian Preparatory Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trinity Williams, who posted 11 points. The dominant performance gave Williams a new career-high in points. Kiley Normandin was another key player, putting up eight points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trinity Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cenzie Pyeatt, who put up 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Fagan, who had 13 points.

Athens Christian Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.
