Baseball Recap: Forestview Wins Going Away Against Huss

Forestview got themselves on the board against Huss on Monday, but Huss never followed suit. They blew past the Huskies 10-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-1 last Tuesday.

Benjamin Denton was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Forestview's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 4-6 when he doesn't). Nathan Moore also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Forestview always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .536. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

The victory got Forestview back to even at 7-7. As for Huss, they dropped their record down to 0-14 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Forestview has already played their next contest, a 7-3 loss against Stuart W. Cramer on the 15th. As for Huss, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-12 defeat against Ashbrook on the 15th.
