The Evangel Christian Academy Eagles will be playing at home against the Belaire Bengals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Evangel Christian Academy can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by Washington at home to the tune of 42-6. Evangel Christian Academy's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Peyton Fulghum continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 428 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.8 yards per attempt. Tyreek Robinson was another key contributor, picking up 151 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, the matchup between Belaire and Tara on Friday hardly resembled the 6-0 effort from their previous meeting. Belaire claimed a resounding 50-12 win over Tara on the road. The win was some much needed relief for Belaire as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Their wins bumped Evangel Christian Academy to 6-4 and Belaire to 3-7.
