The Venture Academy Mustangs stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Millennium, posting a 104-24 victory at home. The victory was familiar territory for Venture Academy who now have four in a row.
It was another big night for Mario Williams, who scored 26 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was DaeLeon Neal, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Venture Academy pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 96.3 points per game. As for Millennium, their loss dropped their record down to 4-13.
Venture Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Turlock Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Turlock Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 1280th, while Venture Academy is ranked 178th). As for Millennium, they will head out on the road to challenge Stone Ridge Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Stone Ridge Christian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matchups.
