When it comes to explaining why Dade Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kenvenson Malivert. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Malivert is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 20 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Rojo, who scored seven points.
Patrick Liburd was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks for Sagemont. Liburd hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Jordyn Kee was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds.
Dade Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Sagemont, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.
Dade Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sagemont will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Morningside Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. One thing working in Sagemont's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 games.
