Despite their loss, Hillcrest saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Thomas Ashby, who posted 23 points, was perhaps the best of all. The dominant performance gave Ashby a new career-high in points. Mahler was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Tolley's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydon Griffith, who put up four points and seven boards.
Jordan's victory bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.
