The McClintock Chargers stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 69-38 victory over Fairfax on the road. The win was nothing new for McClintock as they're now sitting on three straight.
McClintock found their leader in underclassman Lamaiya Woodberry, who scored 34 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Woodberry has scored all season. Malani Reynoso was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Despite the loss, Fairfax still got an impressive performance from Nadirah Muhammed, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds. Muhammed hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ajana Kenyatta, who scored eight points along with two steals.
McClintock is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Fairfax, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McClintock will challenge the Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fairfax, they will head out on the road to face off against the Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday.
