Jackpot is 0-10 against Owyhee since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Jackpot Jaguars just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Owyhee Braves at 2:30 p.m. on February 10th. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Jackpot has struggled recently with 19 losses in a row, while Owyhee will arrive with three straight victories.
On Friday, Jackpot came up short against Carlin and fell 33-25. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Jackpot in their matchups with Carlin: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Owyhee over Wells in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Owyhee walked away with a 46-34 victory over Wells.
Jackpot dropped their record down to 0-14 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Owyhee, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.
Jackpot was taken down by Owyhee 53-19 in their previous meeting back in January. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Jackpot was down 34-5.
