Indianapolis Bishop Chatard had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 12-9 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the Purdue Polytechnic Techies get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

As for Purdue Polytechnic, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Purdue Polytechnic's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dewayne Sawyers, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Vincent Samaro was another, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Coming up, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard will look to defend their home field on the 16th against Covenant Christian at 5:00 p.m. As for Purdue Polytechnic, they will take on Liberty Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
