AJ Reynolds and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
AJ Reynolds's big game helped extend Martinsville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Reynolds turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 327 yards and three touchdowns while completing 76.7% of his passes, and also rushing for 58 yards and two touchdowns.
Martinsville's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Reynolds and Martinsville will head out to take on Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bo Polston produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Decatur Central to the win on Friday. Polston threw for 212 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.

Franklin Community Gets a Boost from Leugers in 34-13 Loss
While Alex Leugers delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Franklin Community. Despite the defeat, Leugers was still balling out as he rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 64 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an incredible 95 yards.
If the past is any indication, Leugers could be in store for another big game when he takes on Greenwood on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Leugers saw the Woodmen), he rushed for 221 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per carry.

Another Decatur Central player making an appearance on this list is Kasmir Hicks. He made a tackle. He showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 51 yards.

Luke Starnes Goes Supernova in Plainfield Win
Luke Starnes's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his seventh-straight game with 113+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Franklin Community had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Starnes it was a similar story. When Starnes last faced the Grizzly Cubs back in September of 2023, he rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns.
