Page extended the longest winning streak in 6A District 1 this week by beating Bartlesville, 27-25. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
The Bruins suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after a 27-25 loss to Page. Bartlesville had been ranked 25th, but fell to 30 following the defeat.
Stillwater's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Braxton Noble threw for 153 and two touchdowns and Davyn Thompson had 97 yards receiving. On the ground Thompson chipped in 114 yards. Darian Williams helped Stillwater's passing attack out by catching two balls for 28 yards.
Rueben Farmer made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Pioneers fell to Union. The 5-foot-11 junior recorded one fumble and racked up one sack.
Stillwater's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Pioneers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Noble has thrown for 1074 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Brandon Prather has 33 catches for 437 yards. Thompson leads the league in rushing with 388 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Stillwater takes on Washington. As it stands, Tucker Barnard's team is in fourth, while the Hornets are in second.
