Thousand Oaks extended their winning streak to seven on Saturday, bumping them up to 12-7. They were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Chaminade Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Lancers, who have now won six games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Samantha Case made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025.
In other batting news, Olivia LePage and Madison Jauregui did most of the damage at the plate: LePage fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-5, while Jauregui got on base in four of her five plate appearances with five runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI LePage has posted since back in April of 2025. Faith Goldfield was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
Thousand Oaks was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .432. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
As for Chaminade, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-3-1. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this matchup were averaging 3.41 runs allowed.
On Chaminade's side, Finley Suppan was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.
Coming up, Thousand Oaks will face off against Orange Lutheran at 2:25 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Thousand Oaks 3, Orange Lutheran 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Chaminade, they will head out on the road to face off against Harvard-Westlake at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
