Beckman has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge University at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Beckman didn't get the result they wanted in their first match with Woodbridge on Monday. They will be looking for a result a little better than the 4-2 defeat they were dealt on Monday when they meet later in the season. They have struggled against Woodbridge recently, as their game on Monday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, University kept a clean sheet against Sage Hill on Monday. They came out on top against Sage Hill by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back wins for University.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jordan Kfir and
Preston Murphy, who scored.
Beckman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for University, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-3.
Beckman came up short against University in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 2-0. Can Beckman avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
