Lyons strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over Minneapolis. The four-run effort marked Lyons' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Anthony Ventura was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Ventura was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Lyons' win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Minneapolis, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Lyons will head out to challenge Sacred Heart at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minneapolis, they will be playing at home against Beloit on Tuesday.
