Softball Recap: Riverside Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Riverside won against O'Bannon last Tuesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went the Bulldogs' way against the Yazoo City Indians as they made off with a 15-2 victory. Considering the Bulldogs have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Paislee Misskelley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Ann Brilye Hankins, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Riverside's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.3 runs over those games. As for Yazoo City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-15.

Coming up, Riverside will challenge Warren Central at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Yazoo City, they will square off against Raymond at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
