Gilbert Classical Academy came up short against Gilbert Christian on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Gilbert Classical Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 26-24.

Gilbert Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for San Tan Charter, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8.

Gilbert Classical Academy took their victory against San Tan Charter when the teams last played on April 8th by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
