The biggest upset of the week belonged to Santa Clara, who took down 862nd ranked Grace Brethren, 31-19.
Fillmore moved up to 518 from 550 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Frontier. The Flashes climbed the ranks as a result of beating Malibu 49-6.
The Lancers' dynamic duo of Matthew Woodard and Kyle Lundy proved tough for the Saints to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Woodard threw for 149 yards and two touchdowns and Lundy had 103 yards receiving. Dylan Suchomel helped Grace Brethren's passing attack out by catching three balls for 32 yards.
Collin Farrar was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 148 yards as Fillmore fell to Santa Clara. Andrey Sanchez also contributed to the rushing game with 125 yards on the ground.
The Sharks' Chase Gardella and Brennan Cassone have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gardella has thrown for 1833 yards this season, while Cassone has 63 catches for 1151 yards. Matt Dollar's team's Farrar leads the league in rushing yards with 1121.
Going into this week's game against Tony Leckie's team, Malibu's Gardella needs 167 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
A big matchup in Frontier this week will be when the Saints take on Ray humphrey's team. Santa Clara is in third place, while the Sharks are in second place.
The Flashes extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Malibu, 49-6. The victory was the fourth in a row for Fillmore.
