Petner has been hot for a while, having  posted five or more  kills the last 12 times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Sophie Roberts, who  had ten  digs and two  aces.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matchups. Lovington will head out to  take on Hobbs  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Clovis, they will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Carlsbad at 6:00  p.m.  on  the 14th.
