After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wisdom, Ashland was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Madawaska Owls 14-4. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Owls recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Ashland's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Madawaska, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-9.
