Winning is just a little bit easier when you nail six more threes than your opponent, a fact the Seneca Bobcats proved on Tuesday. They snuck past Boiling Springs with a 41-35 win. That's two games straight that Seneca has won by exactly six points.
Claire Eavenson was the offensive standout of the match as she dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Seneca's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janyce Floyd, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Sarah Ezell and Karina Tsisun certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Ezell dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Tsisun scored 5 points along with 10 rebounds. The match was Ezell's third in a row with at least ten points.
Seneca now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Boiling Springs, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Seneca and Franklin County will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Boiling Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against J.L. Mann at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
