Monterey's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They came out on top against Palma by a score of 3-1. The win was just what Monterey needed coming off of a 5-2 defeat in their prior game.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Ethan Bonilla and
Walter Bonilla, who scored.
Monterey's victory bumped their record up to 8-4-1. As for Palma, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1.
Monterey will head out on the road to challenge Rancho San Juan at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Palma, they will be playing at home against Pajaro Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
