East Valley Athletes for Christ managed a 43-39 victory over Heritage Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for East Valley Athletes for Christ.
East Valley Athletes for Christ's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landen Marker, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb McAvoy, who scored 11 points.
East Valley Athletes for Christ's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Heritage Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Valley Athletes for Christ will face off against AZ Compass Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. AZ Compass Prep is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. Heritage Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on BASIS - Scottsdale at 6:30 p.m. on December 18th.
