Flintridge Sacred Heart is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Immaculate Heart get on the board and left with a 23-0 victory on April 1st. The result was nothing new for the Tologs, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

Flintridge Sacred Heart got a massive performance out of Ava Nawrocki, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Nawrocki has posted since back in March of 2024. Gianna Candelora was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double.
Flintridge Sacred Heart was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .632. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .321 or higher in nine consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Polytechnic suffered their biggest loss since March 7th on Thursday. They came up short against Providence, falling 18-5. The Panthers have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.
Brynn Connolly made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Lorelai Thorell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Flintridge Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 10-3-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Polytechnic, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.
Wednesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Flintridge Sacred Heart has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .543. However, it's not like Polytechnic struggles in that department as they've averaged .440. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
