The Alamo Heights Mules can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They claimed a resounding 62-27 win over MacArthur on the road. Given Alamo Heights' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while MacArthur is ranked 560th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Michael Terry had an outrageously good game as he scored 18 points along with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Hayes Waddy, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Alamo Heights' win bumped their record up to 26-4. As for MacArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-17.
Alamo Heights will be playing at home against Brackenridge at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Alamo Heights' favor as the team sits on 21 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Brackenridge has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. MacArthur does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
