The Liberal Redskins took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They claimed a resounding 84-52 win over Ulysses at home. That's another feather in the cap for Liberal, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Liberal's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carson Chamberlain, who scored 22 points along with 4 steals. James Fieser was another key contributor, scoring 26 points.
Liberal's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Ulysses, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Liberal will head out on the road to face off against Valley Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ulysses, they will square off against McCook at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
