After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Feliciana, Livonia was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Opelousas Tigers with a sharp 22-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Livonia pushed their record up to 6-8 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Opelousas, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Livonia has already played their next contest (against Slaughter Community Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Opelousas, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Port Barre at 4:30 p.m. on April 1.
