Softball Recap: Rosepine's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Rosepine barely beat East Beauregard the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Rosepine's pitchers stepped up to hand East Beauregard a 13-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Rosepine's fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for East Beauregard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosepine will venture away from home to square off against Vinton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Beauregard, they will head out to take on DeQuincy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Beauregard's pitchers better be ready for this one: DeQuincy has averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
