The Pepperell Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Adairsville Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pepperell will be strutting in after a victory while Adairsville will be coming in after a loss.
Pepperell had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They skirted past Fannin County 5-4. Pepperell better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Aidyn Hurst, as she scored every single goal for her team.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but Adairsville had to settle for a 4-3 defeat against Sonoraville on Friday.
Pepperell ended up on the wrong side of a painful 12-0 walloping at their hands when the teams last played back in February of 2015. Can they avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
