Flint Hill has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Monday. They will take on Holton-Arms at 5:45 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Flint Hill is ranked 14th in Virginia, while Holton-Arms is ranked eighth in Maryland).
Last Thursday, in a tight matchup that could have gone either way, Flint Hill made off with a 38-37 win over Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart.
Raigan McCalla continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 17 rebounds. The matchup was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Lynette Doku was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 7 rebounds.
Holton-Arms has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season. They blew past Smith Jewish Day School 50-30.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Flint Hill's victory pushed their record up to 4-1, while Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart's defeat dropped theirs down to 1-4.
Flint Hill beat Holton-Arms 60-50 in their previous meeting back in February. Will Flint Hill repeat their success, or does Holton-Arms have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
