American Fork came out on top in a nail-biter against Arbor View on Saturday and snuck past 66-63. The victory was familiar territory for American Fork who now have three in a row.
Despite the loss, Arbor View still got an impressive performance from Pharaoh Compton, who scored 29 points along with 7 rebounds. Compton scored a full 46% of Arbor View's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Maximus Romero, who scored 18 points.
American Fork now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Arbor View, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
American Fork will face off against White at 9:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arbor View, they will be playing at home against Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Las Vegas is ranked 34th, while Arbor View is ranked 30th).
