Softball Recap: Riverview Wins Going Away Against Robinson

After only two runs in their last game, Riverview made sure to put some runs up on the board against Robinson on Tuesday. The Sharks were the clear victors by an 18-9 margin over the Knights. The Sharks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

Alivia Garry was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run and three runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Brooklyn Girard also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Riverview was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .541. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Riverview's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Robinson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Riverview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-0 victory against Spoto on the 17th. As for Robinson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 16-4 defeat against Sumner on the 17th.
