Bremond got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Crowley out in front who posted ten points along with six rebounds and three steals. Crowley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Williams, who went 5 of 11 en route to 11 points and seven rebounds.
Bremond smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their offensive board total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Somerville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 54-24 defeat at the hands of Live Oak Classical. While losing is never fun, the Yeguas can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1277th, while the Falcons are ranked 333rd).
The victory got Bremond back to even at 2-2. As for Somerville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
