There's no place like home for Legacy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 52-39 victory over the Somerset College Prep Academy Spartans on Wednesday. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Alexandra Biros was a one-woman wrecking crew as she dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Desirae DeRice, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

Legacy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Legacy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Legacy will take on Morningside Academy in a holiday battle at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Somerset College Prep Academy, they will take on Master's Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
