The Royalton-Hartland Rams had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. Their rough 54-28 loss to The Park School of Buffalo might stick with them for a while. Royalton-Hartland lost against The Park School of Buffalo in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 38-15 score last time.
The Park School of Buffalo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Samya Walker led the charge by scoring 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Tasca, who scored 13 points.
Royalton-Hartland's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for The Park School of Buffalo, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Royalton-Hartland will be home for the holidays to greet Wilson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Wilson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. The Park School of Buffalo will be home for the holidays to greet Emerson Vo-Tech at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
