Quincy Mock of Hampton Roads Academy ran for the longest rushing play in VISFA Tidewater this season against Greenbrier Christian Academy last week. Mock ran for 83 yards on the play and finished with 131 on the day as his team topped the Gators.
Fans got a thrill when Jackson DeMello and John Mobley connected against Portsmouth Christian. The connection went for 70 yards, the longest such play in the league this season.
Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. DeMello threw for 112 and 2 touchdowns and Mobley had 70 yards receiving. On the ground David Gough contributed 197 yards. Michael Tyler Lepore helped Nansemond-Suffolk Academy's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 39 yards.

Hampton Roads Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Navigators feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Duncan Wingfield has thrown for 868 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Trey Critides has 21 catches for 606 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Lew Johnston's team takes on Norfolk Academy. At the moment, the Saints are in third, while the Bulldogs are in second.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Nansemond-Suffolk Academy takes on Norfolk Academy. The Saints have allowed 91 points this season, while Steve Monninger's team has given up 114. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy allowed 20 points last week as it defeated Marcus Cutler's team.
The Bulldogs scaled the state rankings by moving to 133 from 161 this week, the biggest jump in VISFA Tidewater. Norfolk Academy climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Covenant 48-14.
