The Vasquez Mustangs will head out to take on the Westridge Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Vasquez will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
Vasquez is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Castle Park on Friday as they made off with a 23-6 victory. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 15 runs or more this season.
Madisyn Wharton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
