A Season-Best Effort from Jp Powell Leads Miller County over Wilkinson County
Jp Powell produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Miller County to the win on Saturday. Powell rushed for 261 yards and five touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 42 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (101.9) per game. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
The victory was the third in a row for Miller County, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. They and Brooks County are set to duel on Friday.
