On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave Capodanno a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run. That run was her first of the season.
In other batting news, Winchester got a massive performance out of Carys Gugliotta, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Gugliotta is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nora Harstad, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
