Michael Romsa ran for two touchdowns and
Colton Pearson added two as well as
Gold Beach (Ore.) beat Glide (Ore.) 48-6 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Pearson touchdown run in the first quarter, the Panthers led 32-0 at the half.
Gold Beach expanded its lead to 48 points entering the fourth quarter. GB scored four times in the third, including once on a Romsa touchdown run.
The Wildcats' lone touchdown came on a 5-yard run in the fourth quarter.
The Panthers came in allowing an average of 22.2 points per game this season.
Gold Beach also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 53-10.
In a 2A Special District 1 game next week Gold Beach (4-3) takes on Myrtle Point, and Glide (4-3) will go up against Reedsport in a non-conference game.
