Softball Recap: Dickson County Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Dickson County had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Northwest Vikings a 12-0 shutout. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Sadie Greene, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last five games. Coralee Grove was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
