Fans got a thrill when Michael Glovas and Nick Oyer connected against Palisades. The connection went for 80 yards, the longest such play in Colonial this season.
Catasauqua added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Bangor, 42-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Rough Riders.
Oyer had an awesome week catching the football as Pen Argyl defeated Northern Lehigh. He caught 5 passes for 251 yards.
Ryan Hunt threw for 251 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was 5-5 with 0 interceptions.
Oyer was the best receiver in the league this week as the Green Knights topped the Bulldogs. Oyer racked up 5 receptions for 251 yards.
6-foot-1 quarterback Travis Edmond of Southern Lehigh is the league leader in passing yards this season with 598. He has also thrown 8 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Oyer. The Pen Argyl star has 14 catches for 440 yards.
An important game coming up in Colonial this week will be when Catasauqua takes on Pen Argyl. Tom Falzone's team is currently in first, while Paul Reduzzi's team is in fifth.
Saucon Valley took down Salisbury Township 53-3 last week, the largest margin of any game. Keith Mosher threw for 99 yards and 3 touchdowns during the win.
