They snuck past Mount Olive Christian with a 55-50 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Brighton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Brighton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Damon Scott, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Judge Robertson, who scored 19 points.
The win got Brighton back to even at 5-5. As for Mount Olive Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
Brighton will head out on the road to face off against Christian Academy of Louisiana at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Olive Christian, they will be playing at home against Word of God Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
