The DASH United's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight defeat. They took a serious blow against Oak Forest, falling 56-29. The result was an unpleasant reminder to DASH of the 71-37 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
DASH's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Levi Harrell, who scored eight points. Jason Judd was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
DASH has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Oak Forest, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DASH is on the road again on Tuesday and plays Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on February 6th. DASH is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season. As for Oak Forest, they will head out on the road to face off against Wake Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
