  Jack Fabin made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Fabin was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run.
 In other batting news,  Teagan Jordan and  Gunner Lyne did most of the damage at the plate:  Jordan  scored two  runs while going 1-for-2, while  Lyne  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, Lake Norman Charter scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Thursday. They put the hurt on Carolina Royals with a sharp  15-0 win. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded Lake Norman Charter with their most commanding win of the season.
 Concord Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Lake Norman Charter, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record  this season.
