Westminster Christian not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 26th. Everything went their way against Western as they made off with a 13-1 victory.
Westminster Christian also got a great performance from Aaron Hernandez as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Hernandez also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Warriors are 4-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8-1 otherwise.
At the plate, Lucas Argudin was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Bryan Borges was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
Westminster Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .583. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive matchups.
TERRA Environmental pushed their record up to 6-6-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.2 runs over those games. As for Westminster Christian, their record is now 11-9-1.
