Lakeside are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Bainbridge on Friday at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps state rankings predict a close match.
After having lost a blowout to Selah in their previous match, Lakeside were happy to find some success last Friday. Everything went Lakeside's way against King's as the squad secured a 46-0 win. Junior Jack Dickinson was the offensive standout of the match for Lakeside, as he threw 4 TDs and picked up 84 yards on the ground.
Bainbridge had a rough outing against North Kitsap two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Bainbridge came out on top against Olympic with a 28-21.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 1-1. The Lakeside defense got after the quarterback against King's to the tune of 4 sacks, so Bainbridge's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the matchup.
